A group of Mechanical Engineering students at Lelcaster University developed a fully functional 3D Printer. The portable printer is able to breakdown into a wheeled suitcase thanks to mechanical modifications. It is also able to function without requiring a laptop/pc or mains power. The printer follows G-Code instructions and PLA was used to print parts and a set of teeth

The printer is in the prototype phase and changes are still being made.
