Stratasys and Peacock Medical Group Team Up For 3D Printed Orthotics

Ever had foot pain, joint, or lower back pain? Customizable 3D Printed orthotics may be the solution to your problems.  Stratsys is one of the world's leading companies in 3D Printing and has partnered with Peacocks Medical Group to expand the large-scale production of customizable orthotics.  Both companies have created the product Podfo, orthotics built using SLS 3D printing.  This technique can create complex design geometries, which takes away pads and foams or top-covers which traditionally manufactured orthotics included.  The goal behind Podfo is to offer patients increased mobility, pain relief, and a customized experience with products that are thin and lightweight, comfortable but tough, and offer patients improvement in mobility, which leads to independence and relief from foot pain.
