MIT Researchers have created a device that could gently catch fish. It is called the Hydrogel Gripper and it was produced with a 3D printer and hydrogel. Hydrogel is a transparent water-based gel that MIT has been using on different projects, like Octobot. They plan on using it to develop devices that can have scientific and medical applications. 

The Hydrogel Gripper resembles a crane arcade game and it closes its 3D printed arms when water is pumped inside them.
