Grandparents are very loving and most of the time they go out of their way to please their grandchildren. Take for example the Knowlton's, who designed and 3D printed a miniature toy tree house for their granddaughters birthday. It's a very nice gesture considering that many grandparents would rather send letters than emails or prefer to use AOL to surf the web. 

Chris and Janet Knowlton used a Lenovo laptop to design treehouse parts that included ladders, bridges, trees, and more. They also used Simplify 3D to print out each individual piece, something that took hours upon hours to complete.  Now the Knowlton's aren't your average or stereotypical grandparents, it's quite obvious that they have tech know-how. But the gesture is the same and it's very loving and thoughtful.
