GE Developing Software to 3D Print through CT Scans

GE is developing a new software that will allow doctors and medical professionals to 3D Print models made from CT Scans.  Jimmie Beacham, chief engineer for advanced manufacturing at GE Healthcare, and his team are researching ways to translate image files from computed tomography (CT) scanners and other imaging machines so they can be 3D printed on-demand.
