Create Cafe: Would You Like a 3D Print To Go Along With Your Coffee?

A lot of people love drinking coffee, some can't even function without a cup in the morning. People mostly get their cup or cups at a Starbucks or a small local cafe. You walk in order a warm cup of joe and wait until you hear the friendly barista mispronounce your name. It's a fun and familiar process but it's a bit too everyday.

Create Cafe is cafe in Saskatoon does things a bit differently, They allow their customers to 3D print things while they lounge around and enjoy their coffee. This Cafe has 3 MakerBot 3D printers, different colors of printing filament, and other products that their customers can use or purchase. They even offer services to companies that want to design or print a few objects. Talk about diversifying what your business offers.

We have 3 makerbots in the front cafe for public use (due to the user friendliness) and we have modified printers in the back print farm: (2) ultimaker 2, Taz 5, rep2x, printrbot, wanhao 5s, and a large scale printer all used for more industrial applications. Just to clarify ;P

Just your local cafe trying to get 3d printing in the mainstream in Canada :). Thanks for the article!
