Customize Your Roccat Nyth Mouse With 3D Printing!

PAX 2015 - Roccat was on hand at PAX 2015 showing off their newest mouse, the Roccat Nyth -- possibly the most customizable gaming mouse ever created. And Roccat front man Tim Krause even opened up a bit about another exciting, upcoming Roccat product, the Roccat Sova.

Meet the Nyth

The Roccat Nyth isn't just another customizable gaming mouse with a 12-button thumb grid for MMO games. Roccat takes the concept even further by enabling you to completely, physically customize the thumb grid into nearly any number of buttons and button layouts.

The Nyth’s standard 12-button thumb-grid is sculpted and somewhat similar to Logitech’s G600 MMO mouse. However, every single one of the Nyth’s 12 buttons on the thumb grid can be removed and replaced with different buttons. For example, if you’d rather have 6 large buttons instead of 12 smaller ones, you can pop out all 12 and replace them with 6 larger ones. Or you can keep a combination of larger and smaller buttons, and create virtually any combination and button layout to suit your preferences.

You can also cover up (i.e. not use) the buttons entirely, or even print your own. If you’ve got a 3D printer, Roccat released a free online 3D Printing library on August 28th so you can now print your own Nyth replacement buttons, giving you nearly limitless creativity to create any size or color of buttons you want for your Roccat Nyth.
