3D Printing A Robot That Can Walk Itself Off Your Printer!

Tired of having to scrape your 3D Printed part off of your print bed?  Well, maybe it's time you printed a robot that could walk off on its own.  The Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) at MIT are developing the first-ever technique for 3D printing robots that uses both solids and liquids as materials. 

These liquids are used for the hydraulic pumps that allow the printed object to move, a technique that they call "printable hydraulics" which is an innovative addition to 3D Printing technology today.
